Taylor Swift Concert

Alyson, Julie, Kendell, Me, JeNeal, and Taylor before the concert

We had a blast at the Taylor Swift concert on Tuesday night! Our seats were amazing and so was the show. She is just such a cute, sweet girl and a great performer. Kendell and I were trying to pick our favorite part, but we liked it all. She sang in the rain at the end of You're Not Sorry, which was so cool. She came out in a Jazz jersey towards the end. Kendell loved all of her pretty dresses and her pink sparkling guitar. It was such a fun night.....thanks girls!!!

tAYloR sWifT

Guess who is going to the Taylor Swift concert? That's right me!!! I got tickets on the fourth row for me, Kendell, Julie, Taylor, Aly, and JeNeal. I could only get six or I would have invited everyone I know! Sorry!!! Kendell is beyond excited and already knows which Taylor Swift shirt she wants to wear. (yes she has more than one) Just for the record I was a Taylor Swift fan way before anyone else. I made my sisters copies of her first album when it came out... I think they were like thanks, but who is this? Anyway, I just think she is so real and cute and cannot wait to see her in concert! May 26th!!!!

I just love Jack Bauer... he is such a bada**. 24 is one of only two shows Kacey and I watch together. Every week we are like "what ya gonna do now Jack?" somehow he always comes through and saves the day. Here are some facts about Jack Bauer that make me laugh:

If everyone listened to Jack bauer the show would be called 12.

Jack Bauer's poker face is so good he once won a game of poker with monopoly money, an eight card from uno, a joker, a visa card, a tissue, and an iPod nano.

When Jack Bauer opens a pack of Twix there are three.

If Jack Bauer were gay his name would be Chuck Norris

When you open a can of whoop-ass, Jack Bauer jumps out.

The Boogieman checks his closet for Jack Bauer

Jack Bauer is the only man to use a Q without a U.

There are two hands that can beat a royal flush. Jack Bauer's right hand and Jack Bauer's left hand.

Jack Bauer was nominated for an Emmy for playing Kiefer Sutherland.

My Nephew came home from his mission on Friday night. We went to the airport to see him come in and then went out to eat with him after. It was so amazing to see him again. I think he was a litte overwhelmed, he was pretty quiet at dinner. I'm sure it was strange to just suddenly be with family again. His Homecoming was yesterday and he did such a good job on his talk. It is amazing to see how much he has grown up and changed in two years.

Skiing!!!

My poor, deprived kids finally got to go skiing yesterday. They have been begging all year to learn, I just kept putting it off. Hagen and I had a funny conversation about learning to ski about a month ago. He came home from school one day saying that his friend told him if he wanted to do ski lessons then he had to go on that day. I told him we didn't need someone else to teach him to ski and that I could teach him. He replied "Ya like some dumbass". I was laughing too hard to get mad at him because it sounded exactly like something his dad would say. So yesterday we proved we didn't need some dumbass to teach him to ski! All it took was some edgie wedgies and me and my niece Taylor.

Kendell stopping to smile for the camera. She said skiing was even funner than she thought it would be. She did so good!

February Fun!!!

Kendell and I on the snowmobile, this is me before the helmet hair. This is a typical Sunday afternoon for us, family comes over and we play in the snow. I pulled the kids behind the snowmoble in a sleigh for like two hours. They had so much fun and the snow was awesome.

Kacey and Hagen went to Monster Jam on Friday night. Here is Hagen with his ear plugs on. They must have worked good because he fell asleep during the show.

Nothing to Blog About

So I have nothing exciting to blog about, probably beacause we haven't been doing anything exciting lately. Thought I would share this with you. I love Jim's pranks on Dwight! This is from last weeks episode, the whole thing was super funny. They spent the entire time debating whether Hilary Swank is hot or not. If you don't watch The Office you should start right now.

Love These Girls!!!

Me, Kelli and Shelley

Magen and Reven

Over Christmas break I went to breakfast with my old Valley friends. We have been friends since Elementary school and they just don't make them any better than these girls. It was so dang good to see all of them! We don't do very good at staying in touch, but it was just like no time had passed at all. We laughed about the old days and could've gone on talking all day. Thanks for all the great memories girls!

BirThDaY gIrL !!!

Kendell turned 7 yesterday. She has been waiting and counting down to this day for so long. She had such a great day and got spoiled by everyone as usual. Her birthday started bright and early, she got to open one present before school. We had Kacey's family and my parents over for dinner. Kendell is so lucky to share her birthday with her Great Grandpa Jardine, so we always have a joint party at our house.

So excited to get this doll!

Christmas catch-up

Hagen on Christmas Eve at my parent's
We had a great Christmas and New Years! We have been so busy I have had no time to blog about any of it. We've had parties, been to movies, played in the snow with cousins, sleepovers with cousins and tons of other stuff. Hopefully everything will settle down now that the kids are back to school.
Kendell on Christmas Eve, she got the cutest musical jewelry box from my mom and dad. She has hardly put it down since and it is the reason for her big smile.

Hagen got this tool set from Kacey's parents. He was in heaven and has found many uses for his real tools already.

Kendell loved her "Bitty Baby"

Hagen was sick poor kid threw up 4 times Christmas morning. Luckily, he got feeling better pretty quickly and was able to enjoy his toys.

Christmas Tree Tag !!!

Here is a picture of my tree. I'm a little slow responding to this tag. My tree has problems this year. If Kendell's kitten is in the house it heads straight for the tree, climbs up the center and plays with all the ornaments. Trying to get it out just about destroys the whole thing. It bites and scratches and climbs higher. So that is why everything looks a little messy. I've given up, but we are so excited for Christmas at our house. Kendell and Hagen have a countdown going, it seems the closer we get the more wild they get. Anyone else's kids out of control?
I tag anyone who reads this cause I want to see all your trees!

Bunnies Anyone???

These cute little things are free to a good home. My sister's bunny had babies again. She has two bunnies that, if not kept seperate at all times, will reproduce every 28 days. They have been in different cages since March, but were out in the yard together recently and well you know bunnies. They will be ready to give away by Christmas so if anyone wants one...

Kendell the animal lover wants this little one so bad. Too bad we already have two big ones from the last batch!

Pheasant Hunt

Kacey and the dogs just made it home from their third trip to South Dakota this year. Diesel is the puppy on the left. He loves to hunt, but hasn't really learned how to listen yet. This was probably Trapper's last year hunting, he is almost 11 and has really slowed down this last year. He has arthritis and moves really slow, but still loves to retrieve the birds.
Poor Trapper, he looks so old next to Diesel!

It's a Deer!!!

Deer season is finally over!!! I say finally because the archery deer hunt started the middle of August and Kacey just brought this deer home last week. He had been hunting every night for the last two weeks and finally got close enough to one worth shooting. I think hunting season will officially be over after Kacey's third trip to hunt Pheasant in South Dakota over Thanksgiving. He is so spoiled, I think I need to go somewhere now.
Kendell and Hagen were so excited to see the deer

East Bench

On Monday, me and my friends Angie and Debbie went on a bike ride on the east bench. It was such a beautiful day. The temperature was perfect and the trail was so fun. The views were incredible as you can see except for all the smoke and smog. Angie was ready to be done after this, but we talked her into continuing. Debbie is an amazing biker and she is always telling us that the trail gets easier just ahead. Yeah, don't believe her anymore, but I'm glad I have someone to push me and set the pace.
Just love coming around the corner to Debbie and her camera.

BiKinG

My biking buddy Debbie sent me these pics today. She took them last time we went biking together. I miss the nice fall weather! I'm wishing I would've taken advantage of it more. It might as well snow now. If it clears up next week we are going to ride the Ogden bench trail, can't wait!
So pretty!!!

Debbie was nice enough to stop and wait for me as I puffed up the trail.
