It's a Deer!!!

Deer season is finally over!!! I say finally because the archery deer hunt started the middle of August and Kacey just brought this deer home last week. He had been hunting every night for the last two weeks and finally got close enough to one worth shooting. I think hunting season will officially be over after Kacey's third trip to hunt Pheasant in South Dakota over Thanksgiving. He is so spoiled, I think I need to go somewhere now.
Kendell and Hagen were so excited to see the deer

I'm thinking what the hell am I doing out here in the cold?

East Bench

On Monday, me and my friends Angie and Debbie went on a bike ride on the east bench. It was such a beautiful day. The temperature was perfect and the trail was so fun. The views were incredible as you can see except for all the smoke and smog. Angie was ready to be done after this, but we talked her into continuing. Debbie is an amazing biker and she is always telling us that the trail gets easier just ahead. Yeah, don't believe her anymore, but I'm glad I have someone to push me and set the pace.
Just love coming around the corner to Debbie and her camera.

BiKinG

My biking buddy Debbie sent me these pics today. She took them last time we went biking together. I miss the nice fall weather! I'm wishing I would've taken advantage of it more. It might as well snow now. If it clears up next week we are going to ride the Ogden bench trail, can't wait!
So pretty!!!

Debbie was nice enough to stop and wait for me as I puffed up the trail.

Halloween 2008

Kendell and Hagen ready to go trick or treating. Kendell is holding her kitten she rescued from freezing in the barn. We have been feeding it by hand for two weeks because it was too little to eat by itself. It has doubled in size and is doing so good. She named it Spooks and loves it to death.
This is after trick or treating at Grandma Jardines. Their cousin Caitlin is in the center, she was dressed as that scary girl from The Ring. One of the scariest movies ever and she was pretty scary herself. I'm surprised I didn't have nightmares, I hate that movie.

Caitlin (so scary!!!)
